Which payment method can I use?
Which payment method can I use?
Boden.com accepts the payment methods below:
- Most major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express
- Apple Pay
- PayPal
- Afterpay
- Boden account credit (more information can be found under ‘How to use my boden account credit’)
All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

We only take payment when your items have been shipped. If you choose to pay by Afterpay or PayPal, your payment information will be available in your associated Afterpay or PayPal account.
How do I use my Boden account credit?
How do I use my Boden account credit?
Account credit can be used on our entire range (including sale items), has no expiry date, and is valid in conjunction with any offer! We think it’s great but, just so you know, account credit can only be used on orders placed on our website, and only the full amount of credit can be used (up to the value of your order).
To use your account credit, please log in to your account, select your items, and click ‘Checkout now’. Your credit will appear once you reach the ‘Payment’ section, where you will see the ‘Apply account credit’ tick box. Make sure this is checked, and your credit will be applied straight away, leaving any outstanding amount to be paid.
Once you log in to your account, you can check your account credit balance at any point, by following the steps below:
- Click on the person icon in the top-right corner of our website
- Select ‘My account’ from the list that appears.
- Move your mouse back to the top-right corner and click on the downward pointing arrow (next to your initials).
- Select ‘Profile’ to see your account details, including your available account credit.

All payments on boden.com/en-au are made in AU dollars. If you use a card in a currency other than AU dollars, the rate of exchange and any additional fees will be set by your card issuer.
Local tax may apply and the price may be adjusted at checkout.

You can apply your offer or Gift Card code in the ‘Discount code or gift card’ box - this can be found on the ‘payment’ page.
Gift Cards, Sale and Clearance items, and other selected items are excluded from offers. You can find additional information on our exclusions page and in your offer terms and conditions.

If you have received a gift from Boden that’s not your cup of tea, please contact us with your order number to hand, and we will be happy to look into this further. Just so you know, we will need to keep the ‘gift giver’ informed.
